Camp Bowie Boulevard has been a connecting roadway for more than 100 years, providing access to the central business district and other areas of town. It also is a connector to Interstate 30 with a growing number of vehicles using the corridor. Banners along the boulevard give drivers premium exposure to messaging and branding displayed along the 6-mile stretch.

Hometown Heroes Program

Hometown Heroes is a program designed to recognize local veterans who served our country in the past. In its inaugural year, The District proudly donned banners for 30 Fort Worth veterans at high visibility light poles located at intersections with traffic lights.

Display

Beginning July 1, 2025 banners will be installed and the digital Wall of Honor webpage will launch. Each selected hero will be featured on the website with their story. Throughout the month of July CBDI social media will drive engagement to the Wall of Honor.

Registration

Registration is now open for the 2025 banners. Do you know someone who has served the country through any of the US Military Branches? If you or your veteran in mind meet these criteria, they can be a part of this FREE program:

  1. The veteran must be from or currently living in Fort Worth.

  2. The veteran must be new to the program and not featured in a previous year.

  3. The veteran, or someone on behalf of the veteran must fill out the form below to be featured.

  4. If the veteran has passed away, they can still be featured as long as they meet the other criteria.
